Output design

Output could come from any output device such as a printer or VDU. The layout of these is normally determined by the type of information to be displayed. One thing which will always be constant is that a output will NOT have any input controls. (it may have some buttons to be able to close or control it but that would be it).

One thing to bare in mind is the amount of information. For example the output of a single student would be different to that of a class. In Microsoft Access this is referred to as columnar and tabular respectively. Secondly you may have repeating groups. For example classes which each student takes. As such a output design for this may look like the image below.
